Library

Welcome to the Late Bloomer Library. Most of the books here are linked to Amazon.com. By buying from Amazon through our links you are also helping to support a good cause--education of sustainability, eco-gardening and building community.

But even if you don't want to buy something there are a few other things here for you without cost. I'm adding a little at a time and hope to have a full library of free e-books, videos and more for anyone interested in the topics here.

Thanks for your support.

Video

Here are a few videos that can be viewed on youtube and google video.

Gardening

The Global Gardener is a series created and narrated by Bill Mollison who guides the viewer through establishing sustainable living practices in several different climates and cultures.

The youtube videos are in several different parts. I'll post part one of each section of the series and you can access the rest through the links from that video.

How to be a Gardener  (Part A, 2.00 hrs.)   (Part B, 116 mins.)
This two-part, four hour special by the BBC, takes you from gardening basics all the way through composting the easy way and designing the garden space. Master Gardener Alan Tichtman is the narrator and host of the special. Very informative and entertaining.

Foraging/Wildcrafting videos

Eat the Weeds videos created by Deane Jordan takes you from backyard foraging and into the larger world of foraging for fruit, food and medicine.
The narrator and creator of the series makes the journey a pleasant one. If you've always wanted to see what it was like to forage, this is the place to start.

Savage in the Wild, created by Sunny Savage. Sunny takes across the country on some very cool adventures, meeting incredibly cool people and trekking, tasting and tantalizing us with some very wild food.
